Is there a linux OS that can boot from a Flash or SD card? windows won't start, & i need to back up my C drive

here is my question about it before








BUT , i just want to reinstall windows with the recovery thing or whatever.. so, is there a OS or explorer or something that can boot from a SD card?


I can't put my HD in this computer as a slave because they connect with diferent types of cables.





How else can I back up my hard drive at home? i have a DVD burner

Reply:You can boot to a live cd with Ubuntu but I'm not sure if that will address your problem. Booting to a SD Card I've not heard of but providing your motherboard / bios allows it you may be able to boot to a flash drive (usb.)
