Is anybody using Linux on a Dell Latitude D620?

Hi, I just got a Latitude D620 with Duo Core processor. Ive been asked to install Linux on it. Not sure which distro to try. If anyone has any experience with a particular distro being installed on a Dell D620, I'd certainly appreciate knowing which distro you used, and what worked with out of the box (or with minimal reconfiguration).

Also, if you had to do a special reconfiguration or download a driver, please let me know if you can.

Im basically looking for the most trouble free install to get basic functionallity working. Looking to use it for basic linux programming (C, forks, processes %26amp; stuff)

thanks!

I don't have that particular model, but I've found Dell hardware to be pretty Linux-friendly in the past (at least when installing Red Hat). But here are some links that might help you...
