i am doing a project
a part of it is displaying some text in an lcd 2x16 display
i finished the connection work
first row is completely(all 16) every block is highlighted and second
row is clear.is tht the sign for correct connection.
tried out different c programs nothing is working.
i want it to do it in linux and windows..(diff c files as per os)
..
pls any one help me out...

The most feature complete and most compatible program in linux for lcd character displays I've seen is lcdproc.
