i only have a ps3 at the moment by means of accessing the internet, and like to download music and videos from sites like limewire and isohunt. i cant even watch videos on you tube because it says i need a flash player. any info would be great as my knowledge of these things isnt great!!!!
How do i install linux or something similar to linux on to ps3 without using a p.c or burning disks?
To my knowledge you cant download an operating system onto your Ps3. There are firmware updates you can find online that'll give you programs like flash player, limewire, powerISO, and isohunt formatted for your ps3.
Reply:Linux comes as a CD image now, so you'll have to either download an image and burn it to CD or buy an already-burned CD. Check at http://www.distrowatch.com/ to see which ones are available and what you want to do. (You could always get a friend to download an image and burn a CD for you.)
